The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) made it know today that 32 million active bank
accounts are still yet to enrolled on the Biometric Verification Number
(BVN) by September. This was made known by CBN's Director, Corporate
Communications Muzau Ibrahim in a statement released today September
25th. The deadline for the exercise as been extended till October 31 after
many Nigerians failed to do their registration on June 30.
